History of the company
1999
- Education Centre for Petroleum Industry, ltd was established.
- City Council Board transfers 5th High School under the control of Education Centre and Petrochemia Płock transfers Secondary School Divisions, including Chemical Technical School, Vocational College and Vocational School. In both cases Education Centre becomes the executive authority of schools that still maintain the status of public schools, which is a unique case.

2000
- Education Centre for Petroleum Industry, ltd changed its name into Education Centre, ltd. (the company’s name for marketing purposes: Education Centre ORLEN Group).
- Starting cooperation with the University of Warsaw, The Faculty of Management, Political Studies and Journalism

2001
- between 2001 and 2004 we organize training project “Academy of Petrol Station Sales” for PKN ORLEN SA
- We launch first edition of Post-graduate Security Studies

2003
- Business executives of PKN ORLEN  take part in postgraduate studies in Company Value Management organized by Education Centre and conducted by Warsaw School of Economics.

2004
- in September Education Centre and schools run by us were granted an International Quality Certificate as a result of certificate audit carried out by CERTQUA Association Certificate Commission in Bonn. The certificate testifies that we respect and abide by DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
- School of Foreign Languages of Education Centre ORLEN Group was established. Between 2005 – 2009 about 1000 students a year take part in our courses.
- co-operation agreement with British Council Examination Section in Warsaw was signed – School was granted a status of the British Council Registration Point.

2005
- between 2005 and 2008 we support staff restructuring process in PKN ORLEN SA by organizing trainings and vocational courses.
- adding team building/out-door activities to the offer
- I position in the ranking survey, conducted by the weekly magazine Newsweek, for the best language school in Płock.
- two projects subsidised by European Union – “Managerial Skills Academy” and “Professional Manager of European Enterprise” submitted in the 1st edition of the competition organized by The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development were launched by our company. Total value of  projects amounts to 2 943 500 PLN. Projects finished in 2008.

2006
- in January we inaugurated first studies in Master of Business Administration, together with Kozminski University. By 2008 we have organized two editions of those studies as a part of the project subsidised by European Union.
- Education Centre and PKN ORLEN SA sign the agreement concerning conducting obligatory trainings (technical and professional) for PKN employees.
- restructuring of the British Council Examination Point into a British Council and University of Cambridge ESOL Internal Centre.
- I position in the ranking survey, conducted by the weekly magazine Newsweek, for the best language school in Płock.

2007
- on request of PKN ORLEN SA we organize training project “Managerial Coaching” covering trainings and individual  coaching sessions for high level executives at PKN ORLEN SA
- cooperation agreement with the Main Test Centre for Foreigners of the Russian People Friendship University was signed; co-operation in the area of certifying levels of command of Russian as a foreign language: everyday Russian, business Russian.

2008
- on the basis of agreement signed with Centromost Shipyard in Płock we organize welding training centre together with fully equipped welding workshop
- on request of ANWIL SA we organize training project “Managerial Trainings” addressed to high level executives of ANWIL SA

2009
- Education Centre was classified on 12th position in Poland in ranking „Training Companies” Book of Lists Warsaw Business Journal according to revenues. 69 biggest training companies took part in this ranking.
Additionally, according to revenues from the first part of 2008, our company was placed among the first ten.
- Since 2005 to July 2009 overall value of projects subsidised by European Union  has amounted to 19.3 million PLN.
- Between 2000-2009 Education Centre ORLEN Group has organized postgraduate studies in 15 different subjects in cooperation with Warsaw School of Economics, The University of Warsaw, The University of Łódź, Kozminski University and Cracow University of Technology.
